Year 9 Entry

Criteria for Entry

Girls should be able to flourish, academically and socially, in Year 9. We ask for school reports and a reference will be requested from your daughter's current school in due course. Girls are invited into school to sit tests and have a short interview. There is also the opportunity to meet our current Year 8 pupils.

Why join Year 9?

Your daughter's current school may finish at the end of Year 8, making a move to The Laurels a next step.

For other families, Year 9 is a good transition point, allowing girls to settle in and start to focus on GCSE preparation. We offer small class sizes and our personal tutors are a great support to girls and parents navigating the teenage years. Our exciting academic programme and wide-ranging extra-curricular programme let girls explore their own talents and be challenged to excel.
