Volunteering

Volunteering at The Laurels School

At The Laurels School, we take pride in nurturing not only the academic excellence of our students but also their sense of responsibility towards the community. Our unique volunteering program is designed to install a spirit of giving back and personal growth among our students.

1-to-1 Mentoring:

During break time and after school, we encourage our students to become mentors, offering invaluable support to their peers. In the serene setting of our library, they engage in meaningful one-on-one mentoring sessions, fostering personal and academic growth.

Running Clubs at Oakwood School:

Our commitment to holistic development extends to our primary school, Oakwood School, where Laurels students lead a variety of lunchtime and after-school clubs. From Reading Club to Football, Netball, Art, Robotics, and Debating, there's something for every passion.

Community Outreach:

We believe in making a difference beyond our campus. Every week, our students venture to St. Joseph Primary School to support young learners with reading and engaging activities. This community engagement not only enriches the lives of these children but also deepens our students' sense of empathy and purpose.

Oratory Leadership:

Our faith-based volunteering program allows students to take on leadership roles in organizing and preparing the oratory for masses and guided prayer sessions. It's an opportunity to develop strong leadership skills while contributing to the spiritual life of our school community.

At The Laurels School, we understand that academic success goes hand-in-hand with personal growth and community engagement. Our volunteering program empowers students to be compassionate leaders, confident mentors, and active contributors to the greater good.

Join us in shaping future leaders who make a difference, both within our school and in the world beyond. Together, we inspire greatness, one act of kindness at a time.
