Working with Younger Children

Pupils at the Laurels also have the opportunity to work with younger children from local schools through hosting Maths Competitions and Spelling Bee Competitions. The sharing of these experiences benefits both the younger pupils and Laurels pupils gain a great inspiration from mentoring and volunteering for these projects.

We actively promote a spirit of service in the school encouraging pupils to care for each other. Sixth Formers help mentor and tutor younger pupils and are involved in a service project with one of our local primary schools.
