Spirit of Service

Pupils at The Laurels learn how to develop their spirit of service, leadership and team building skills by successfully collaborating with others for the greater good of all.

Our school logo reminds us to serve with joy and that when we serve others we bring joy to our fellow human beings and to ourselves.

In Key Stage 3, pupils can receive prizes for Kindness, Endeavour and Service and in Key Stage 4 and 5 one pupil is nominated to receive the Arete Prize which encompasses all of the above.
