Try a different sport at The Laurels

We aim to provide a varied range of sports activities here at The Laurels. Whether or not girls aspire to be the next Mary Earps, we want them to learn the many benefits that exercise and sporting activity can bring. Our refurbished netball courts are in full use this term, looking fantastic, and the girls are playing football on our pitches. We're fortunate to be able to use Crystal Palace's facilities to extend our offering, and pupils in Year 7 to 9 are enjoying trampolining there this term after their swimming lessons in the autumn. There is also gymnastics in our sports hall, and the Year 11s and Sixth Form have been trying out a different sport, Tchoukball. A popular introduction this term has been dance, provided by our visiting dance teacher. Our ethos is 'sport for all' so that everybody participates. For the sporty ones amongst us, there are lots of competitions, matches, and other opportunities to compete and be challenged.
