Olympic masterclass

Our athletes were delighted to have a masterclass from Olympian Marilyn Okoro this week. She put the girls through their paces with a series of challenges to help them improve their relay technique and inspired them with her own story of how she reached the top level of athletic competition. Her combination of gratitude, humility and drive were inspirational. We were all of course thrilled to see her bronze medal for the 4 x 400m from the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Many thanks to Marilyn, and to the Mintridge Foundation for introducing our own sportswomen to such a positive sporting model.
