Top of the class

Congratulations to the girls who competed in this year's Junior Mathematical Challenge run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust. Pictured are the girls who were placed, meaning they were in the top 50% of candidates who competed. Particular congratulations to Dora in Year 8, highest placed in the school, and to Sole, who came top in Year 7.

The Junior Maths Challenge encourages pupils to explore the breadth and depth of mathematics, solving interesting puzzles, and we're delighted that girls at The Laurels participate so keenly in the annual event.
