GCSE grades reflect wonderful individual achievements

We're delighted with our Year 11 GCSE grades, which are testament to the hard work of the pupils and the support and dedication from their staff and parents.

56.3% achieved grades 7 to 9, significantly higher than last year's grades here at The Laurels; the national average in 2023 for grades 7 to 9 is 21.6%.

As well as pupils who achieved top scores across the board, we have girls who have achieved scores which are excellent for them as individuals. 

Mrs Sanders, our headmistress, said, 'I am thrilled with the grades which the girls have achieved. There are some wonderful individual success stories for pupils. Congratulations to the pupils and to their teachers for achieving results which show the value added by an education at The Laurels.
